The new version also sneaks in Gravatar support for automatically finding contact photos by email using the popular avatar service, and plenty of clever iMessage stickers for communicating just the right message.Ĭardhop 1.3 for Mac is also out today and introduces new templates for creating smart groups as well as group message sending support with natural language input. Cardhop 1.1 for iOS also supports new smart group templates that auto-update using frequently searched queries. The updated iOS app also supports creating custom templates with set fields and labels when creating new contacts if you typically save certain details. If you use Cardhop on the iPhone and iPad (or multiple iPhones and iPads), business card settings now auto-sync over iCloud too. Now Cardhop lets you create multiple business cards for different businesses or different versions depending on what you want to share with your new contact. Watch our hands-on video for the details. Cardhop for iOS expands on the awesome business card feature introduced in version 1.0 plus much more including a fun sticker pack in Messages, and Cardhop for Mac picks up new templates for managing smart groups and more.Ĭardhop 1.1 for iPhone and iPad now lets you create multiple business cards, expanding the clever feature that debuted in March. I've removed the address and the group itself (pre-explode) from the Airmail Address Book, removed and re-added the address to the group in Apple Contacts, and done a "sync contacts" in Airmail several times, but the error persists.Įxporting the vcard for this person and for the group from Apple Contacts showed no problems.Flexibits brought its excellent contact manager Cardhop from the Mac to iOS earlier this year, and today both versions of the Fantastical maker’s actionable contacts app are being updated with all-new features. If I compose an email in Airmail to this person, I get two suggestions, one correct and one malformed. There doesn't appear to be any way to send email to a group in Apple Contacts, but CardHop allows it, and the result is a correct set of addresses. In the Apple Contacts app, that address is correct, and sending mail to it uses a properly-formed address. The address in the Airmail Address Book is marked as from Apple Contacts, and is malformed.
It happens to be the last address that I added to that group in Contacts, about 4 weeks ago.
Airmail 3.6.57 is using a malformed address that looks like "First Last " (without the quotes) for one person in a 10-member group.
